Welcome to

'End of the Track'

Summary of the Group

Based in North Wiltshire, End Of The Track perform songs from the 1960s era to raise funds for local charities. They charge no standard fee, and simply ask for a donation to their chosen charity for any performance. The group has been singing together for over fourteen years, with a wide repertoire of songs.  The link below takes you to a video recorded after a performance at the Goatacre Manor Care Centre where you will hear Keith Clifford describing the aims of the group.

The group always has a busy programme of performances. In 2023 we made 56 appearances at venues across the county of Wiltshire - many of them to regular clients who can see the effect of our music on the wellbeing of audiences.

Please try to get to see one of our performances to appreciate the range of music covered.

Increased Concert Charges for 2024

The group require a charity donation for any performance, and the minimum donation for concerts being booked for 2024 has been increased from £50 to £60. We always attempt to keep our cost to be within the financial ability of the elderly groups we entertain, and  this is the first increase in our charges since 2018. We hope our existing clients are able to accommodate this increase and continue to enjoy our entertainment.

Supported Charity

The group continues to raise funds for donation to the Julia's House children's hospice in Devizes.

Most recently, a cheque for £2,000.00 was handed over to the charity in June 2023 (see photograph below) when the group were guesting at concert in St Andrew's Church organised by the Corsham & Colerne Military Wives Choir.

The group has now donated over £15,000 to the charity since 2019.

Our very first donation to the hospice was made on 22nd August 2019 (pre-pandemic) by seven members of the group - the photograph below was taken in the grounds of the hospice and shows Community Fundraiser Claudia Hickin receiving the cheque on behalf of the charity.

Joint Concert with The Harmonics (26th April 2019)

On Friday 26th April 2019 the group performed alongside the local ladies singing group 'The Harmonics' at St Nicholas Church, Chippenham to raise funds for the church. The packed audience were treated to a programme of songs covering the last fifty years, and it was a delight for us to share the evening with singers who enjoy their music as much as these ladies clearly do.
